(More customer reviews)though it took me a while to trust my guitar to the two plastic clips, I have been using
this strap for over a year now, and there is no way those things are gonna fail. If you look
closely at the clips, there are notches that double back for extra security. this strap is also
reasonably comfortable. as far as installation goes, the straps come with screws that may be longer
than the originals, but it was not a problem for me. However, if you do decide that the holes in
your guitar's body are too short, I would highly recommend pre-drilling in lengthening them so that the wood does not split.

(More customer reviews)This is a very nice strap, and the idea of a design that is a tribute to SRV is the thing that caught my eye, and got me to buy it. However, this is not at all like the one SRV actually wore. It is a different kind of strap altogether. It is inaccurate to say this strap is "just like the one SRV wore", for example, because it is not. The artwork on this strap is reminiscent of the artwork on SRV's straps (one of which was black with white notes and one of which was white with black notes, as this one is). Priced as other straps of this style, but a little better in that it has the nice artwork, and not just a plain leather strap.

It's comfortable, and damn snappy. One drawback, which may be a big one for some, it's a bit too bulky to fit in my case. bummer. (More customer reviews)The good - Strap looks good and seems fairly sturdy.It should last a long time.

The bad - it's a little on the short side.I'm no Jimmy Page wanna-be (ie I don't wear my guitars down to my knees), but this strap was just a tad too short for my explorer.It seems to work OK with the more traditionally-styled guitars (Strat, Les Paul, etc), though.

Also, the graphic is silk-screened onto a shiny, almost plastic-looking material that is adhered to the leather... not so sure how well this will hold up, but it looks interesting.

However, it is sturdy as a result, has nice leather ends and a string in case your guitar doesn't have a button for the strap, and is fairly easy to adjust. The patter is wonderful, and while it doesn't have a neck protector, the edges are very rounded and will not cut your skin no matter how much you move around on stage.
