(More customer reviews)I put these on an Ibanez electric acoustic with a flamed top finish. They look a lot better than the cheap, white plastic bridge pins that the guitar came with but I can't really say they added much to the sound of the guitar. I'd give them a little credit for MAYBE adding some sustain but overall they are more of a cosmetic upgrade, which I am happy with. They do add quite a bit of class and distinction to the looks of the guitar.

(More customer reviews)I recently replaced DR Black Beauties (booo!) with Elixirs and am very happy I did. Elixir strings are easy on your fingers, last a really long time and sound great the whole time they're on your bass. Highly recommended if you care about tone. They are more expensive than other strings but their longevity more than makes up for the price hit. One minor issue I've experienced with these strings is that the coating does tend to flake off after a while, making them look a little "fuzzy" but the sound is not affected by this and it's purely cosmetic in my opinion. If you have the cash, get Elixirs!
