Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I purchased a Jam Kat a few months ago and was hesitant to write a review until I had some time to use the product. When I saw the scathing review below I thought I should weigh in.
Here is what I found.
This is not a bad product. This is a well thought out device that has the potential to become a common tool for guitar players everywhere. I was impressed at how easy it was to switch from fingerstyle to picking. I have a problem where I forget myself and squeeze the pick too tightly between my fingers. Squeezing too hard often results in a cramp in my hand. I found it useful that the device holds the pick for me and I tend to loosen up and guide the pick rather than squeeze.
I don't use my Jam Kat much because the plastic fitting for my finger is too large. I thought I would need a large size because Im 6'3 and have giant hands.. The large Jam Kat fits reasonably well while its cold but when the plastic warms up it tends to loosen and drift on my finger. I have considered modifying the ring. I think that I would be fine with a size down. I wish now that I would have purchased the medium size.
A note to guitar players:
Please support this innovation. This device, like any, will go through its revisions and become better if we don't let it die. I believe that the Jam Kat has the potential to become a very useful and common tool among guitar players. If your anything like me, You have strummed your fingers bloody for the lack of this innovation. Stop the bleeding.. Buy the beta Jam Kat and more versions will come..I hope this helps buyers and sellers alike.
