(More customer reviews)I have been playing bass for about a year and a half now. These strings are the best I have ever used. I've had Earnie Ball Slinky's, GHS Boomers, Elixr (all of which are pretty dang good), and a few I forgot the names of, but these kick their butts. They have an amazing punch and clarity. I use them with an Ibanez Sr-405 series bass and they work perfectly with the active electronics. I mostly play experimental metal in the chicago area, and also some old school thrash. Just overall love these strings. Be careful, they can grind up your picks pretty fast haha.
