I love the glossy black color; looks great. Produces a vibrant sound. It comes with a 10 Watt amp. The amp is small but has good output. Loud enough to annoy the neighbors:-). I recommend it. Thums up!

(More customer reviews)While I couldn't recommend this product for someone wanting to do professional recoding, I am, overall, very pleased with it.I have a cheap mic, and this preamp dramatically improved the sound, and reduced backgroud hum.I really like the seperate imput and output controls, and the ability to run either 1/4 or XLR inputs is nice.It does lack some of the features that I have seen on more expensive models, and most of the tech is solid state.But again, for the price it is a nice little addition to your home studio.
If you are a beginner that just wants to play around with music recording/production, this is a simple to use product that will work great.

The kit came complete down to the sticks, so you can assemble and play straight from the box. The skins were a little thin so you may have to replace them with thicker skins unless you are a jazz musician who likes the brighter sound of a thin skin. The kit is a great value for the price, the quality pleasantly suprised me, the cymbals have great hard ware, but I think I will replace the cymbals themselves with something heavier later on. Otherwise a great buy.

(More customer reviews)I'd been searching high and low for a case that would fit the jumbo Alvarez I'd recently got a great deal on.The jumbo cases were rarely in stock, and cost about 40% more on top of the regular prices, presumably owing to that relatively few guitars are jumbos, compared to dreadnoughts.I was in a local music store, and we'd tried just about every case they had.I was about to bite the bullet and give SKB $144 for their case.On a whim, I slid the guitar into this case.Nearly perfect fit, with room for my strap, tuner, capo, a spare set of strings, etc. -- and saved a LOT of money!In the past, Gator cases had been a bit thin and brittle, but today's Gators are an outstanding value.If it had molded feet instead of button feet, I'd give it a solid 5 stars, but unless you're flying with your guitars in checked baggage a lot, that won't matter.Highly recommend this manufacturer & model!
